Privacy Policy
Who are we and what is this about?
We are Florian Gyger Software GmbH, Gustav Zeiler-Ring 3, 5600 Lenzburg, Switzerland, and the controller responsible for this website. This is our privacy policy («PP») in which we provide you as a data subject with the information required for you to exercise your rights and to ensure transparent data processing for you.
This PP forms the basis on which we process your personal data as described below, including data we receive in connection with your use of and interaction with this website.
This website may contain links to and from websites of our partner networks and affiliated companies. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that they have their own privacy policies and we cannot be held liable or responsible for them.
This PP is dated 13.03.2026. We reserve the right to update it at any time. The version published here shall apply.
Our data processing complies with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What personal data do we process, for what purpose and with whom do we share it?
When you visit our website
When you visit our website, our servers temporarily store each access in a log file. The following technical data is collected automatically, as is generally the case with every connection to a web server, and stored by us until automated deletion:
- IP address of the requesting device
- Date and time of access
- Name and URL of the file accessed
- Website from which access was made (referrer URL)
- Browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer, as well as the name of your access provider
The collection and processing of this data is carried out for the purpose of enabling the use of our website (establishing a connection), ensuring the long-term security and stability of the system, optimising our internet offering and for internal statistical purposes. This is based on our legitimate interests within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
For the analysis of website usage, we use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics software that we self-host. Plausible does not collect personal data, does not use cookies and does not create individual user profiles.
We are supported in this by our partners, who are subject to data protection regulations that we have carefully selected and contractually bound to comply with data protection, in particular with regard to data security.

When you arrive via a referral link
If you reach our website via a referral link (URL containing ?ref=username), we may ask for your consent to store the referrer's username in your browser's local storage. This allows us to attribute your potential signup to the person who shared the link with you.
We process this data based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). The data is stored locally until you complete a waitlist signup—at which point it is sent to our servers to create the referral link, then cleared—or until you clear your browser data. If you decline, we will not store any referrer information.
When you share your referral link
If you share your referral link with others, your username may be stored in their browser (with their consent) and sent to us when they sign up, so we can attribute their signup to you. We process this data based on our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in operating our referral program and attributing signups accordingly.
When you fill out a form on our website
This website allows you to register as a Builder or Reviewer via a form. If you choose to fill out such a form, you consent (within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) that we store and process your email address, name and any other information you provide for the purpose of processing your registration and communicating with you until the purpose is fulfilled, and then archive or delete the data in accordance with legal requirements.
We are supported in this by our partners, who are subject to data protection regulations that we have carefully selected and contractually bound to comply with data protection, in particular with regard to data security.

Do we disclose your personal data abroad?
We work with various partners in Switzerland and abroad (see above). In principle, these are located in countries that provide an adequate level of data protection. If disclosure to certain countries requires additional safeguards, we ensure this by agreeing EU-approved standard contractual clauses for data protection with such partners or by relying on their self-certification under the relevant frameworks.
What are your rights?
You have the right to:
- request from us information about, correction or deletion of your personal data;
- require us to restrict the processing of your personal data, in particular to object to the processing of your personal data for marketing purposes; and
